QR LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the OS3 application (the “App”), a voice-based AI companion available on Apple Watch (watchOS) and iPhone (iOS). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use OS3.
1. Information We Collect
Voice and Audio Data
OS3 processes your voice input to provide AI-generated responses. Voice audio is captured only when you actively initiate a conversation within the App. OS3 does not use always-on listening, wake words, or background audio capture.
Your voice audio is streamed through our relay server to Google’s Gemini API for real-time speech recognition and response generation. Audio is processed in transit and is not stored on our servers. We do not retain or have access to your voice recordings after the session ends.
Conversation Data
Text transcriptions of your prompts and the AI-generated responses are stored on our servers to provide conversation history and continuity features. You can view past conversations within the App. Conversation data is associated with your user account.
Account Information
When you sign in with Apple, we collect and store your name and email address (or Apple’s private relay email) to create and manage your account. Your Apple user ID is used as a unique identifier.
Device and Usage Data
We may collect limited technical information to ensure the App functions correctly, including:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- General usage metrics (e.g., session frequency)
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics
This data is collected in aggregate and is not linked to your identity.
Information We Do Not Collect
- Biometric data or voiceprints
- Location data
- Contacts, calendar, or health data
- Financial or payment information (payments are handled directly by Stripe — we never access your card details)
- Phone numbers or physical addresses
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above solely to:
- Provide and operate the App’s core voice AI functionality
- Improve App performance, reliability, and user experience
- Diagnose and fix technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for advertising, marketing profiling, or sale to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
Gemini (AI Processing)
Your voice audio is streamed to Google’s Gemini API for speech recognition and response generation. Gemini processes this data according to their Privacy Policy and API Terms of Use. Under Gemini’s API terms, inputs and outputs are not used to train their models.
Apple
OS3 uses Apple’s speech recognition framework to generate live captions during conversations. Apple’s processing of speech data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. App distribution and TestFlight are also handled by Apple and subject to their terms.
Stripe (Payments)
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. When you upgrade to a paid plan, your payment information is collected and handled directly by Stripe — we never see, store, or have access to your card details. Stripe processes your data according to their Privacy Policy. We receive only your subscription status and billing period from Stripe to manage your account.
Analytics
If we use any analytics services, they are configured to collect only anonymized, aggregate data that cannot be used to identify you personally.
4. Data Retention
- Voice audio: Streamed to Gemini in real time and not stored on our servers.
- Conversation text: Stored on our servers for as long as your account is active, to provide conversation history and continuity features.
- Device and usage data: Retained in anonymized, aggregate form for a reasonable period to support App improvement, then deleted.
5. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS) between the App and third-party services. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children’s Privacy
OS3 is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA.

8. International Users
OS3 is operated from the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through the App or App Store listing. Your continued use of OS3 after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
